The committee carries out its work with the aim of achieving the following principles and foundations:

Goals


  • Supporting the application of scientific research ethics at all levels in all university faculties, especially theses (Masters - PhD - PhD) - research - research projects.
  • Assessment of the theoretical and training needs of faculty members who review the ethical aspects of research in the various faculties of the university.
  • Organizing and coordinating the training of those responsible for research supervision among faculty members.
  • Spreading culture and awareness of the ethical rules of scientific research among those in charge of scientific research and its participants through periodic lectures and electronic publication.
  • Protecting human rights and preserving his dignity.
  • Establishing ethical rules for animal care during experiments, and ways and means of disposing of carcasses, or in respect of which experiments have failed after the end of the research.
  • Protecting the rights of researchers related to intellectual property in accordance with the provisions of Law No. (82) of 2002.
  • Encouraging researchers to publish their research in international scientific journals with a high impact, which will be reflected on the academic level of the university’s faculty members, and then raise the international classification of the university.
  • Assisting colleges in developing their plans for scientific research.
  • Publishing periodic electronic guidelines and information to educate committee members and participants on the ethical rules of scientific research.

Article 14

The provisions of the Universities Organization Law No. 49 of 1972 and its executive regulations are implemented in what is not mentioned in a special text in these regulations, and the provisions of the Intellectual Property Protection Law No. 82 of 2002 regarding a doctorate. Theses, PhD philosophy, research and research projects are applied. .

Article 15

Not to add the name of any faculty member other than the one mentioned in the thesis and research protocol without objective justifications.
Not to delete the name of any faculty member, assistant (assistant teacher or teaching assistant), resident doctor or visiting doctor mentioned in the thesis or research protocol without objective justifications issued by the scientific council or the scientific body being researched. affiliate.
Writing the names of the participants in a research extracted from a thesis as follows: the name of the author of the thesis, then the supervising faculty members, then the main supervising professor.
The arrangement must be by agreement of all participants in the research or research project.
Not to extract a single research from any scientific thesis.
It is necessary to record the research points in the register of the relevant department council in order to preserve the intellectual property right of these points for researchers.
